How your complaint is prepared

Your answers are used to prepare an AFCA complaint document you can lodge yourself. We use Anthropic's Claude (a leading AI model from Anthropic) to draft the document by applying published AFCA lead decisions to the facts you provide. You review the draft, you decide whether to lodge it, and you lodge it yourself at afca.org.au using your own AFCA account. You don't have to pay anyone for this

  1. AFCA is free. You can lodge directly at afca.org.au or call 1800 931 678. A case manager will help you. No cost.
  2. Super Consumers Australia runs takeyoursuperback.com with ASIC funding, free guidance specifically for Shield and First Guardian investors.
  3. The Financial Rights Legal Centre (1800 007 007) gives free legal advice to consumers, especially those experiencing financial hardship.
  4. If you choose to use a no-win-no-fee lawyer instead, FD Legal (1300 433 533), Maurice Blackburn, and Berrill & Watson all handle Shield and First Guardian matters.
  5. We charge $0 for your first complaint. If you want help with any additional complaints, we offer flexible payment terms — upfront, $97/month, or $25/week. You can also ask for a refund of any payment within 14 days, no questions asked.
